Bio:

Yuri Slavin is the son of Captain Petrov Slavin, commander of the United Plantes cruiser Socrates. Yuri was born and raised on the ship, where he grew into a natural spacer and mischievous thrill seeker. He was known for playing pranks on the crew, competing in athletics with the younger crew members, and fleecing lower decks grunts in games of Andromeda Hold ’Em poker.

Eventually, Yuri was pressured to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the United Planets military. He left the Socrates for basic training, and was even admitted to flight school where he performed well. Unfortunately for Yuri’s potential career as a UP pilot, his rebellious streak got the better of him and he was drummed out of flight school just before graduation.

Captain Slavin did not take the news well. Yuri never returned to the Socrates. Instead, he found himself stuck poor and planetside, so he started exploring adventures on land that weren’t possible in space, such as base jumping and off-road driving. It was during this time that he acquired his current mutations and gear.

Eventually, Yuri realized he couldn’t stay land-bound forever; he needed to fly again. Scrounging up what little funds he could find, Yuri booked passage to Crossroads Station, intending to hire himself out as a freelance pilot.
